Prof Takeuchi is a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Internal Medicine, School of Medicine, and the Vice President of Keio University. He is also the President of Japan College of Rheumatology, Chair of 117th Japanese Society of Internal Medicine, and the President of the Japanese Society of Inflammation and Regeneration. Prof Takeuchi’s is an expert in clinical and translational research for Lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and other systemic rheumatic diseases.
