Masayoshi Harigai, is Professor and Chairperson of Department of Rheumatology, Tokyo Women’s Medical University, Tokyo, Japan. Professor Harigai is the principal investigator of Japan Research Committee of the Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare for Intractable Vasculitis (JPVAS) and of clinical trial of tocilizumab for ANCA-associated vasculitis. He is in charge of revising the Japanese clinical practice guidelines for rheumatoid arthritis. He serves as a member of the board of officers of the Japan College of Rheumatology.
