Dr Kumar is a Consultant Rheumatologist and the Clinical Head at the Department of Rheumatology, Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. He is also the Principal Investigator, Middlemore Clinical Trials Limited and an honorary senior lecturer in Rheumatology, University of Auckland. Dr Kumar’s research interests include SLE, gout and inflammatory arthritis.
